Week 9 : Life

Week 9, and the theme in our 52 project with Alana Meyer and friends was LIFE.

Again, on the surface what seemed to be an easy theme, actually turned out to be a little tricky.. but as this seems to be the trend lately, maybe its not the themes that are a little tricky... maybe its just me! Every now and again I cheat a little and pop on to google to see what kinds of ideas other people may have had for images with the various themes, but alas, this didn't help one single bit for this theme, so we had to get nice and creative again.

In the end, we chose to photograph ants for the LIFE theme. Although sometimes quite a nuisance and terribly annoying, ants play their roll in society, as do every other little creature. Every living thing has a life and plays a part in someone else's life, whether it be large or small..... (*breaking out into song.... ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALLLLLLLLL*)

For us though, this weekend the ants were sending us a message... either it was the there was rain coming, or that we should wash the dishes in the sink ;)

BIG thank you to Rob for helping me out on this one :o)

Picture from the weekend - 1

So lately we have been inspired to do a bit more shooting, and every weekend, when we dont have any shoots booked, we just take to taking pictures. Seeing the world for what it is and living in the moment. Im not sure if its the 52 Project that has brought this inspiration on, or if it just caused by the hustle and bustle of life in the week... I dont know, but what i do know is that its definitely going to produce some wonderfully interesting images :)

Here is last weekends picture:
A simple message, but yet said so well... we hope that in seeing and reading this, that one does not forget to LIVE... to LOVE... and to REMEMBER...our little recipe for a fulfilled life.

Comments and thoughts welcome :)
